The event was designed to boost students&#8217; creativity, collaboration, and media production skills while promoting responsible digital citizenship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the week, participants engaged in hands-on workshops exploring the elements of digital storytelling\u2014such as character, setting, narrative structure, visual design, and sound. Students used various free digital tools and mobile apps (like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, and Storyboard That) to bring their stories to life, while also gaining insight into media literacy topics like content authenticity and ethical sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\uddf9\ud83c\uddf7 Digital Storytelling Week in Tokat, T\u00fcrkiye (7-11 April 2025)<br>Empowering Digital Citizens through Media Literacy and Storytelling<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udfac Each country group created an inspiring digital story:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\uddf9\ud83c\uddf7 T\u00fcrkiye produced a humorous and creative story about a fictional French legend of how potatoes first arrived in France, blending imagination with cultural exploration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udded\ud83c\uddfa Hungary created a powerful short video on the Siege of K\u0151szeg, retelling an important moment in Hungarian history through dynamic visuals and narration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf1 Poland addressed environmental awareness by crafting a digital story on the overconsumption of clothes and its harmful effects on nature, raising awareness of fast fashion through storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\uddeb\ud83c\uddf7 France focused on the theme of friendship, developing a heartwarming digital video that highlighted emotional connections, trust, and intercultural understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The week concluded with emotional presentations, reflections, and a celebration of each group&#8217;s unique contribution. This experience not only improved students&#8217; digital and language skills but also strengthened cross-cultural friendships and their sense of European identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 The event was designed to boost students&#8217; creativity, collaboration, and media production skills while promoting responsible digital citizenship. Throughout the week, participants engaged in hands-on workshops exploring the elements of digital storytelling\u2014such as character, setting, narrative structure, visual design, and sound. Students used various free digital tools and mobile apps (like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, and Storyboard That) to bring their stories to life, while also gaining insight into media literacy topics like content authenticity and ethical sharing. \ud83c\uddf9\ud83c\uddf7 Digital Storytelling Week in Tokat, T\u00fcrkiye (7-11 April 2025)Empowering Digital Citizens through Media Literacy and Storytelling \ud83c\udfac Each country group created an inspiring digital story: \ud83c\uddf9\ud83c\uddf7 T\u00fcrkiye produced a humorous and creative story about a fictional French legend of how potatoes first arrived in France, blending imagination with cultural exploration. \ud83c\udded\ud83c\uddfa Hungary created a powerful short video on the Siege of K\u0151szeg, retelling an important moment in Hungarian history through dynamic visuals and narration. \ud83c\uddf5\ud83c\uddf1 Poland addressed environmental awareness by crafting a digital story on the overconsumption of clothes and its harmful effects on nature, raising awareness of fast fashion through storytelling. \ud83c\uddeb\ud83c\uddf7 France focused on the theme of friendship, developing a heartwarming digital video that highlighted emotional connections, trust, and intercultural understanding. The week concluded with emotional presentations, reflections, and a celebration of each group&#8217;s unique contribution. This experience not only improved students&#8217; digital and language skills but also strengthened cross-cultural friendships and their sense of European identity. Day-1: 9:00-10:00: Theme Selection: These themes align with the project&#8217;s goals of promoting critical thinking,ethical digital behavior,and informed digital citizenship.10:30-12:00: Narrative Development: Participants craft narratives that highlight the chosen themes.These narratives can include personal experiences,perspectives,insights or creative interpretations.13:00-14:30: Creative Expression: Through multimedia elements like videos,images,graphics,and text,participants convey their narratives creatively.This allows them to engage audiences effectively and capture attention in the digital space.
